Michelle Yeoh won the Best Actress Oscar for "Everything Everywhere All At Once."

The only Asian woman to receive this gold medal.

However, she's not the only woman to break through the color barrier.

Halle Berry did that in 2002 in "Monster's Ball."

The actress from Malaysia called it"a "historic moment" in her speech.

"This is something that we've been working on for so long for a many years," she added.

"Don't allow anyone to label you as a victim, and don't believe that anyone can say you're over your peak," she went on.

Yeoh is oldest among nominees for Best Actress nominees at 60.

Other nominees were Cate Blanchett for "Tar," Andrea Riseborough for "To Leslie,"" Michelle Williams for "The Fablemans" and Ana de Armas for "Blonde."
